DIAL-UP SERVICE
Configuration
We no longer support the use of Windows 98 or earlier versions as these are vulnerable to security problems. We recommend the use of XP or later.
These days, the majority of our customers are on a broadband service, but some dial-up can prove useful as a backup.
Simply enter the following information when requested to do so:
- Your Studio433 Username or Login name
- Your password
- Dial-up telephone number: 0845 609 1366
If you do not yet have a dial-up account you can sign up for one here.
Sending email
The free Studio433 Dial-up service provides all features of a full Internet connection except that there is no SMTP facility, which means you cannot send email through the server.
If you have a web site hosting account with us, you can instead use your authenticated email server to send email. Alternatively, you can use your webmail facility.
